Plein air, 9x12 oil on panel. This is a beautiful day! It started out cloudy and I was afraid my plein air painting trip to SFA University's arboretum would be a wash out. But I met my friend, Karen Lostrocco there and the sun came out and we painted most of the afternoon. The dogwood and azaleas and many other trees and flowers are blooming and it is a beautiful place. It was almost 80 degrees--feels like spring.Friday, March 18, 2011
March Beauty
