PAUL'S DAISIES oil on canvas, 6x4

These are some of the beautiful bouquet of flowers my son brought me. There are several kinds of flowers in the arrangement and I had trouble deciding which ones to paint first.

TIGER EYES oil on canvas, 6x6

I borrowed this pot of Tiger Eyes from my neighbor--the one with all the beautiful flowers in her yard. I've painted her flowers many times in the past. She had just bought these and some other plants to add to her flower garden, so I brought these over and put them on the table by the window in my studio. It was such a pleasure to paint them! Now, I'll have to return them to her.

RED CUP WITH FLOWERS acrylic on canvas board, 14x11

This was the demo for today's painting class. It's the same cup as before and the yellow flowers are the same ones. But, I bought the purple and white flowers this morning.

DAISY ON MY DESK
oil on canvas, appr 6"x4"

This is the Gerber daisy again. This time I decided to paint the whole daisy with it's very long stem. It is in a green glass sitting on my desk beside my laptop in front of a window.

GERBER DAISY
oil on panel, 10"x8"

I bought this big beautiful flower this morning. I thought it deserved a bigger canvas than I usually do for my daily paintings. Actually, this is done on a gessoed hardboard panel, not canvas. It is painted about life size. The color on this photo isn't very accurate. There are other colors besides red on the flower, but, in the photo, all you can see is red.
