REFUGIO
oil on canvas, appr 4"x6"

Tuesday--This is the fourth in my water tower series. I love driving through Refugio, TX. There's the most beautiful church that can be seen before you get into town. I captured the church and the water tower in the same photo that I used to paint this.

RICARDO
oil on canvas, appr 4"x6"

This is Ricardo, Texas. I thought it was interesting how this house was between the water tower and the railroad track and highway. I took many pictures of water towers in towns along the way between Lufkin and the Rio Grande Valley on our recent trip. I've thought about doing a series of paintings of water towers. We'll see.
