Sold  Aretha, oil on linen, 6”x6”. Aretha is my older son’s dog that travels with him.  They roll across the country in a Freightliner.  I love painting animals almost as much as I love painting people.

The Mortons

SOLD  The Mortons, oil on canvas, 18”x14”.  This commission has taken me much longer than it should have, but I’m happy with the way it turned out.

Ginger

 

Sold. Ginger, oil on linen, 6”x6”.  Ginger was a Chocolate Lab that belonged to a dear friend—my “painting buddy”, Veila.  Ginger passed away about 2 years ago, but Veila still misses her.  So, I painted Ginger for Veila’s 95th birthday.

I painted several commissions and gifts for Christmas, and I can post some of them now since Christmas is over, and they are in their new homes.  I truly love painting animals!  I have a few more commissions to paint for January and February, and I’m working on them now.
