I placed these colorful peppers on my drawing table in front of a window and painted quickly before the light changed. The shadow in the upper right is from a vase of dried flowers and a glass of tea also on the table.
I am a full time artist, painting almost every day. Besides these small daily paintings, I also do murals, large landscapes, figurative works, and commissioned portraits. My paintings are in private and corporate collections across the country. My home and studio are in Lufkin, Texas where I live with my 2 cats, and 2 dogs.

An awesome, stopped me in my tracks kind of piece! The light and energy of the pepper spiral is fantastic, and the extra shadow is a poetic anchor.
Thank you, Dar! You're very kind. I really enjoyed painting this with the bright sunlight coming in the window.
