Here's what I painted today. I've been wanting to paint this picture I took about a year ago of my niece holding her baby. It's 31 degrees and it's nice to look out the window of my studio and not have to go out.

Ann, This is FABULOUS! I thought it was a Mary Cassatt at first glance--it is so beautiful. How blessed your niece is to have you for an aunt and to have this amazing moment captured forever!
I am a full time artist, painting almost every day. Besides these small daily paintings, I also do murals, large landscapes, figurative works, and commissioned portraits. My paintings are in private and corporate collections across the country. My home and studio are in Lufkin, Texas where I live with my 2 cats, and 2 dogs.
