Luscious

Oil on canvas on panel, 4x6. A friend brought me some strawberries, so I had to paint them before I ate any of them. I thought I'd use a palette knife and squint a lot and here's the result.

PLATE OF STRAWBERRIES
oil on canvas, appr 5"x7"

I bought a carton of strawberries and thought I'd paint all of them. So, I poured them out on a white plate and set it on a desk by a window in my studio. I love red!

STRAWBERRY IN LIGHT
oil on canvas, appr 4"x4"

Here I go again painting shadows and reflections. I placed this strawberry on a shiny white surface in front of a window in my studio. I have to paint fast when I do that because the light changes quickly. Yes, the shadow moves pretty fast.
