This is a study for a larger painting. I actually started the larger one first and then decided to work out the problems in a small study. So, now I can complete the other painting. I think this will be a great large piece. you're right. Doing preliminary work pays off, whether it's a small value study, sketch or little work of color.
This is just so soft and lovely. Looks like it could illustrate a book or story. Very nice, Mary
