Plein air painting--I enjoyed sitting outside and painting my bike after I rode it this morning. It's such a beautiful, sunny, warm spring day. How wonderful it is to be able to paint! I know, I could do a more accurate painting if I worked from a photo in my studio, but this is more fun and has a fresher feel. I love shadows!Tuesday, April 20, 2010

This painting made me smile. I love it! I like doing both plein air and studio work. The spontanaeity of plein air makes me think differently, and I hope keeps me young!
