WAXAHACHIE COURTHOUSE

9x12 Plein Air oil on canvas on panel. This is another one of the paintings I did last week at the Paint Historic Waxahachie paint out. It was so HOT (close to 100) and the light was so bright!!! I was standing partially in the shade, but it was a challenge getting this finished.

I'm so impressed that you braved the heat to do some plein air painting, but it was worth it for your way-cool painting, Ann!

Hi Ann...the composition and frame focus on this one is fantastic! I love the colors and how you treated the daylight. Nice!

This is really impressive, even more because it was done plein air. Great stuff, Ann! I'm looking forward to following your progress.
